I help Engineers and Researchers use engineering tools with clarity and intent.
As a qualified, Mechanical Engineer since 2008 I’ve had the opportunity to design and develop some incredible physical products for range of commercial and industrial sectors. However, I found interest peak when I began automating my workflows and tools, leading me to adapt my career into professional Software Engineering.
Over the years I have taught 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor) and CFD tools (OpenFOAM, Fluent) over my career, noticing the specific challenges students and Engineers have with these tools. I have also developed my own 3D graphics engines, physics solvers and simulation tools in low-level programming languages. The insights have been incredibly informative to my journey.
I have made it my mission to help Engineers, Scientists and Researchers embrace computing to enrich the work they do through a deeper understanding of how specialist tools work and how best to utilise them in the modern era.
