Hi, I’m Nasser.
As a qualified, former practicing Mechanical Engineer since 2009 and in 2021 I switched careers and became a Software Engineer.
I’ve had the opportunity to use 3D CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools to design and analyse a variety of physical products. I know just how important CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) software is to the modern Engineer.
Whilst software has changed the landscape of the engineering and adjacent professions with increased efficiency and productivity, many are cumbersome to use, painfully difficult to use and unexpected crashes are an accepted reality.
Furthermore, despite professionals understanding the potential leverage of these machines, programming them seems a far-fetched idea, especially if it’s not your regular job.
I personally got intrigued by these problems and made the decision to switch careers to become a Software Engineer officially in 2021.
Now, I build interactive software tools – going from the physical to the digital domain. To date I’ve built CAD features and tool sets, complete physics solvers, simulation engines and 3D visualisation apps.
I have made it my mission to help Engineers, Scientists and Researchers embrace computing to enrich the work they do.
